#iclapfor at the birth home of Levi Strauss in Germany
On the 13th September Ian Berry opened an exhibition of his works in denim at the Levi Strauss Museum in Buttenheim, Germany. It was Levi’s birth house before immigrating to the USA and creating what we now know to be denim jeans.
Once it dropped dark they lit up the building Levi lived in with the #iclapfor clapping hands. Click through to read more…
#iclapfor the Emerald Isle, projections have been seen across Ireland
#iclapfor covered the Island of Ireland both North and the Republic. Taking in both capitals, Belfast and Dublin, stretching from the northern extreme and iconic Giants Causeway to the South with Cork. After Newcastle in both England and Australia, a third is added with the Newcastle outside Dublin. With historic locations such as the Rock of Cashel to The National Gallery of Ireland - Tipperary was also included and of course, that is a long way to go. I clap for all those still fighting on in Ireland.

NHS BIRTHDAY WEEKEND
4 July 2020
This weekend saw #iclapfor pause for a while after the final projections on Sunday night, timed for the anniversary of the NHS. It may have only been the 72nd year but it’s the first since the Covid - 19 period. The NHS themselves and the Together Campaign asked for a final clap and that is what they got, at 5pm on Sunday. Ian Berry went up to Walthamstow with ATMA to spend it with the neighbours around the mural. On Saturday there had been a projection at Coal Drop Yards in King’s Cross with a special birthday message, along with a reminder to clap the following day. The Piece Hall in Halifax launched the emotional and moving video and then on Sunday night it ended, where it began - London and Newcastle, the heartbeat of this campaign.
And where else to best round off this? at two hospitals.
The final Encore!
Well here it is the NHS’ birthday, that became a second chance to show we care. Remember when the clapping ends the care doesn’t, we are not through this, not by a long shot. We send all our best wishes to all those we clapped for and for our part, we won’t forget, but Sunday will see the last clap, and the last projection.. for a while anyway. Click through to see what See The Bigger Picture and the Drone Works did in Gateshead at the Angel of the North.
