BLACKPOOL the Front Line
It's like Blackpool Illuminations here
Normally Blackpool’s front and promenade would be lit up for cars to drive by to see the illuminations, last night a single light shone solemnly clapping for those we care for on the front line.
Like to be beside the seaside
The coast resort once the pinnacle of northern holidays clapped. Ian Berry would often go to Blackpool goring up and it is great to see it projected there in the famousness holiday spot on the Lancashire coast.
Claps seen again at the Pleasure Beach
Nobody is getting to spend much pleasure time anywhere so we feel for those who have to close up when they should be gearing up for peak season. The summer months are key to Blackpool, we wish it well.

Lytham St Annes
last night Lytham, the seaside resort on the Fylde coast of Lancashire, south of Blackpool on the Ribble Estuary saw the projection beamed on Lytham Windmill that is situated on Lytham Green. Since commercial milling on the site ceased in 1921 the mill has belonged to the town and is operated by Flyde Borough Council, who open it to the public during the summer. The mill also contains a museum run by the Lytham Heritage Trust which explains the history and practice of flour milling. In 1951 the mill was designated a Grade II Listed building.
